Probably the best known Barbadian worldwide at present is the beautiful singing sensation Ryhanna who has burst onto the international music scene in the last two years with a series of number one hits.
Barbados has long been a favourite haunt of the Rich and Famous with legendary singer Sir Cliff Richard a popular resident of many years standing. Many of the top international showbiz, musical and sports celebrities come and go without fuss or hassle, and the latest big names that are reputed to be buying homes are Sir Andrew Lloyd-Webber and the inimitable Simon Cowell.
